The Kandari Baba Hanuman Temple is a sacred and ancient temple located in the Melghat Tiger Reserve in the state of Maharashtra, India. Devotees can perform pooja sadhna at Hanuman Temple premises. While visitors are strictly advised to not leave the temple premises and walk towards the core forest area.

Cooking Camp at Kandri Baba

While it is not recommended to cook food in the jungle near the Kandari Baba Hanuman Temple due to safety concerns and potential harm to the environment, it is possible that devotees may cook food as part of their religious rituals and offerings to the temple. Smell of food and leftovers may attract wild animals near by, hence visitors need to be cautious while coking the meals.

How to reach Kandri Baba

Kandri Baba Hanuman Temple is located deep inside the Core forest area. The nearest village is Tarubanda. First, you will have to reach Tarubanda village, then get permission from Forest department to enter the core forest area. Then after Tarubanda, there is connecting road which passes dense Melghat forest, it will take you to the famous Kandri Baba Hanuman Temple.
