Bamboo Garden is developed by Maharashtra Forest Department. It has more than 65 varieties of bamboo spread over the garden. You can get a chance of watching such wide variety of bamboos at one place.

Bamboo garden was established in 2017 and inaugurated by Minister Sh Praveen Pote. Since then is continuously operational and open for tourists. It is one the major attraction in Amravati among tourists and locals.

Bamboo Garden is spread over 49 acres. Bamboo Garden is first of kind garden in Maharahstra state. More than 63 species of bamboo are available at Bamboo Garden Amravati. The garden features a collection of bamboo structures, including bamboo huts, bamboo bridges, and a bamboo cave. It also includes a bamboo forest information center, a cactus garden, a lotus garden, and a dedicated children’s park. Several bamboo species have been gathered from different regions, both within the country and from overseas, making it a valuable resource for research purposes.

Bamboo Garden Amravati Timing

Bamboo Garden is open for day light. It allows entry from 8:00 am to 06:00 pm. The garden management ensures exit of all visitor at 06:30. Garden remains closed after 06:30 for public visits. Bamboo Garden opens all days except Monday i.e. it closed on Monday and open on all other days of week.

Bamboo Garden Amravati Entry Fee

Bamboo Garden has Rs 20 per person entry fee. Every children above 5 years age has to take full ticket. Entry tickets can be purchased near entry gate.
